Indica dominant plants do generally stretch less than their sativa relatives, but the amount of stretch is still variable among them. I'd say yes, it IS pretty typical that you didn't see a signifcant stretch compared to sativas you'd experinced previously.
Sure, go ahead and increase veg time on the next indica crop, and focus on creating a continuous, thick canopy, which is the way to squeeze maximum yield out of an indica.

Got a question, I am used to sativas that double and in some cases (Sour D) nearly triple in size during flowering, but the Af-Goo\SuperSilverHaze mix I just grew barely at all veritcally during flower. Is this pretty typical of indicas? Alot of sources on the net say indicas won't even double, while other sources say every plant should double in size during flower. My yield is a bit lower than it should be because I anticipated them doubling in Rating: 5
