whats the lowest PH the litmus paper will read?

Illusion Reviewed by Illusion on 11-10-2007. pH Problems?!?!? My digital ph reader is showing 5.76, but when i tested with litmus paper its showing a deep red, very low, it there any chemicals that could mess the litmus papers reading up? using superthrive, liquid karma, & pure blend, any ideas? is the paper wrong or the digital? Your problem is most certainly due to Liquid Karma. You will not be able to rely on paper or even liquid pH testers with even a moderately-colored solution.

You should also definitely calibrate your digital pH tester. My tester doesnt fluctuate more than .1 over the 2 weeks in between calibrations, but I'm lucky in that respect. I've seen that will change over a full point in just 4-5 days... so check it often until you figure yours out.
