Global warming is happening; however I believe it is being used as a political weapon. The Republicans have the fear of terror and the democrats have the fear of global warming. Before any other need, most us put our own safety first.

People that doubt global warming are braindead idiots with a monetary agenda. In 20-30 years when there is no fresh water, when the oceans have risen 5-20 ft. I want to hear these same assclowns tell me there was no global warming, yeah a guy with a giant hairdryer just stopped by and melted the icecaps, may have been that same mythical religious guy named Jesus, eh.

I don't think that they are questioning whether climate change is real, just whether or not we are responsible for it or in a position to reverse it, also drawing into question some of the political solutions which unmistakably amount to pretty much fuck all.

what if its caused by the sun? the earth absorbs more energy from the sun in one hour than humanity uses in a year. (heard that on discovery) so what if the suns output goes up .1% or 4%?

Who the hell needs facts....it's obvious. If the atmosphere was supposed to be polluted, wouldn't it already be? The earth didn't start out as a shithole...we made it that way!

13 nations have signed on to the "plot" so I don't think it's political. Labs that have run scale models of the conditions both with, and without the CFC's introduced by humans found this: Before the introduction of these propellants in the `70's, the models matched what happened. Afterword, the two models split. Those with the CFC'S (as really happened) showed a sharp increase in the greenhouse gasses, (as really happened) the model where it was not (what if) did not. Maybe we DO have the power to affect our environment!

I also think it's funny when people say we're not destroying the planet because we're "natural animals doing what humans do!" (Hmmm, nuclear war, toxic waste, ozone, war, good stewardship, environmentalists, lawers, Peace Corps... Maybe we can "naturally" make some better decisions, regardless!) :-]
