Growme:
She is about 3.5 ft tall. The cola is lookin really nice.
Ope,
I appreciate the input. I guess the jack herer is one of those strains that dont put out the dookie reek. I am pretty certain that its going to be good smoke, it just is starting to get caked with trichs and is looking really juicy. I wish I had a high end lens to take some close ups but believe me this bitch is squirtin out the love juice. I pinched a small leaf off and put it under the scope and it looks very nice. I then put the leaf between my cheek and gum and it had a very nice sweet taste. I was thinking about clippin some of the lower buds towards the bottom and curing them just to see a preliminary of what may be. Would this be okay or should I just leave er alone. I have been bending big fan leaves that are keeping light from buds towards the mid section which are starting to take off nicely. I aint cutting the fan leaves off just bending and tucking some I have had to actually snap but not cut off they are still attached and even seem to be trying to heal back. Such a resealiant plant.
Peace

Ope,
I have noticed just a few orange hairs starting to pop out on my girl towards the middle of the cola. What does that mean?
Peace

GodBud,
I don't think you would be a normal weed farmer if you didn't snip a little before she's ready. It won't hurt a thing, just don't do too much or she may get shocked, and you sure don't want that this far into flower. Remember though that the buds on the bottom part of the plant are less likely to be ready, so don't use that as a gage for the whole thing. The orange hairs are nothing to worry about. That happens on mine too. It's actually a good thing since it indicates that her time is growing near.
GrowMe,
Looking good, getting closer.
Both of you,
Aint it exciting?

Opie:
Hell yes it is!!!! Thanks soooooo much for all the advice..
You were right about the PPM levels..they got burned..Sucks cause i finally got a ppm meter and first thing i do is burn them.. :wtf:
Would that affect the speed they are growing or size of buds? they seem to have slowed down a great deal this week.. Any thoughts??
Im getting really antsy for these broads to finish..HOw will i know when they are done? they are 6 weeks into flower in a few days here and am wondering if i have 2 weeks left or 4...I know some strains take longer than others and since i'm not sure what mine are what to do? thanks in advance :weedpoke:

Nutrient burn will slow them down. Maybe by one day, maybe by 2 weeks.
You will know when they are done by looking through your 30x magnifying glass or 60x pocket microscope. The trichomes start clear, then go to cloudy, then amber. Most people seem to like a little amber in the harvest. The more amber, the more you will be stuck to the couch. The more clear, the more you will be able to think and work while you're high. Sup to you. You can check seed sellers to see when your plants normally are ready.

Oh yeah, I go for about 10% amber, but if I am fortunate enough to have weed from several harvests I like to have some more clear and some more amber. Different weed for different times of day, or different situations. Once you've done the same strain a few times you won't have to check as much, because you'll know how you like it, and know what duration of flowering makes what kind of high.
