Your household breakers should be atleast 15amp maybe 20amp. The amp to watt conversion escapes me right now but thats about 1500W-2000W to a circuit. Remember that more than just your closet is on that circuit. Flip one circuit at a time until you find the one that kills your closet(if there labeled, you got lucky). Then proceed to test every outlet nearby, every light socket and every appliance. When your finished, you should have a good idea whats running on that one circuit. Then just start to add up the watts. Post your wattage on the one circuit and I'll tell the amp conversion.
