All that the Mayan calender claims to predict is that there will be an end to life "As we know it" on 12-21-2012, too many people jump to a doomsday conclusion.... The prediction is far too vague to be deemed valid. All that we know for sure is that on 12-21-2012 there will be extremely rare celestial alignments, and thats all........But then again im stoned and i have been mistaken before:stoned:

People say that the predictions on the Mayan Tun calendar mostly is about an evolution of consciousness, which builds up slowly until it reaches its peak at 2012.

I watched a video of it awhile ago, and it was very interesting. I forgot the guy's name. No, it was not Michael Tsarion, some other guy. It did persuade me to believe that there could be an evolution of consciousness, and that every x amount of years (in the hundreds of thousands, thousands, and escalates even to months and weeks) we reach a new global consciousness, which is brought on by cosmic forces. He also says that the Mayan Tun calendar has thus far been extremely accurate in predicting the evolution of consciousness over the past hundreds of thousands of years. Crazy!

I don't buy this future telling stuff.. Its never a guarantee, I mean I've met Christians that say that the world is 12000 Years Old by adding up the ages of the people in the bible or some shit like that; What about 'Dinosaur'? What about the fossils? God put them here to test our faith? No duuude.. I don't buy it.

u are talking about the christians that are brain washed in these money making churches and they believe everything the preacher says instead of reading the book themselfs with an open mind and with logical thinking.i believe in god and jesus and what the bible has to say but i also know this was a book written by man. so there are gonna be stuff left out as god did'nt intend the bible to be a history lesson but a tool as to show what he wants from us

Okay, its not going to happen in 2012 as the Mayans predicted. But did they predicted the end of the world, or the end of there lifestyle. And if so then they were wrong. Right! It will happen when it's suppose to happen and only 100,000 of us will know. and I'm sure I won't be one of them. So party on dudes!!!
