How bad is this for your lungs?

I know how a joint is equal to 5 cigarettes and that crap, but lately I've been smoking using my gravity bong I usually only take one or two hits on it and I'll be out of it, i was wondering if this is not as bad as a joint because it's only like one or two hits, if you use a bong does the water help make the smoke not as bad?

I know for a fact that Bongs can be hazardous, especially Gravity Bongs. My buddy popped his lung, it wasn't a pretty site. But, as far as it taking out the tar and all the other crap, it might a little but rather a Bone than a Bong.:rasta:

Ive not heard the term bone, but i assume it means joint, lots of people don't like joints because they waste weed, and I dont see how it would be possible to pop a lung with a normal bong because it doesn't force the smoke into your lungs

Sure your right, but in my buddy's case he had his head pushed down while hittin. Had some crazy friends back in the day. Just a warning to our younger generation. Bongs are great with snow or ice but just a precaution with gravity bongs.
