Matthew 28 19-20 talks about how we need to go therefore and make disciples of all the peoples of all the nations.
the issue was never the importance of making disciples of all nations, it was the manner in which it is done. a christian is supposed to be a disciple before making a disciple of another, but most tend to do it with overt exclamations of Christ's majesty and veracity, rather than emulating a projection of the savior in their daily lives, to attract the honest-at-heart with extraordinary, understated and humble acts. that method is much more effective and gives christianity a better image to others.
