I'm all for different cultural interpretations of this and that, but pedophilia is undoubtedly bad for the psyche for the simple reason that, in the strict biological sense, humans who have not hit puberty are not physically and psychologically developed into a sexual being. Forcing sexual acts on a child prior to sexual development (forcing it on anybody as well though), is through and through bad and biologically contradictory.
