Does the d.e.a check out lists of people who have medical cards or something? I mean if for SOME reason i do get caught would it help my chances having the card or should i just not worry about it and do it anyways?

Since its winter time it should be anyways cuz people are using more heat. Also i live in california so i can get my card so im not too worried about local cops, but would the d.e.a even bother trying to "sting" me or whatever, or do they typically go for bigger operations?
