Moving to Cali

So I'm probably getting a job and relocating to Santa Barbara. I've passed through there a few times and it seems nice. Is it a good place to live though, or will I be bored all the time? How is the bud situation? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I actually know a girl that goes to UCSB from Queens.

She said she hated it in California, but I personally think she just misses home. Totally relaxed atmosphere in Santa Barbara, and California police tend to put marijuana on their lowest priority.

Another guy that I know down there smokes a lot (from the Bay Area), and if he's happy, I'm sure the bud is fine.

I've never lived in socal but i have heard that they get the same weed we do in norcal which is really good. its a little more expensive down south though. theres a lot going on in sb. arguably some of the most beautiful coastline in california and best surf is in santa barbara

Go there with an open mind and you will be alright. Good luck finding a decent pizza though. I hear Californians put wierd stuff on there pizza (apple slices, carrots, raisins -yuck!

santa barbara is an awesome place. its pretty much all chronic here.
socal has alot of the same weed we do bc the emerald triangle is putting out the BEST...which gets exported all over the state/country/world.

as far as food and entertainment go, well thats a little bit more subjective. ive been to New York and Washington once. it was absolutely nuts, hella culture shock. ive been outside of the us and the east coast was like being on another planet. im sure you can find some real decent pizza. most people here dont put weird shit on their pizza man thats totally bogus. weve got a pretty diverse culinary selection-im sure especially where you're going

not too worried about the pizza, and I've ate plenty Cali before (you guys have better fast food than we do). I'm just really looking for some peace and quiet. I'm tired of the fast-paced life out here and I need a break. Hopefully SB is a nice change of pace.

the truth is, cali has the best weed in the world. nowadays, socal gets herb just as good as norcal (especially when it comes from there , but mainly because of people growing indoors). as far as santa barbara goes.. if you're looking for good herb, you'll be okay. if you're looking for parties, ucsb and sbcc kids party all the time.. noone really graduates from santa barbara. it goes: ucsb, sbcc, and then eventually to some not so much party school if you actually wanna graduate heheheh
