see when you roll a blunt you smoke the tobacco leaf which you roll everything in. also your mouth is so close to the bud so you inhale a lot of resin and such. a bowl would do fine, but it's not a bub. you can roll a blunt with a carboard filter (basically a little tube of cardboard which you roll and insert in the end to make smoking easier and to also catch resin) also.
