    Whats your fav?

    Hydroponics nutes / mixes.

I'm currently new to hydroponics in general and I've been reading and I want to ask other growers what they are using. General Hydroponics seems to be the most popular from reading, however you rarely see good newbie mix information (specially cannabis specific) ?!?

Also, considering I'm using aquarium ph tester which is higher range ph... aprox ph up/down measurements would be phenominal too.

    Damn learning curve.

Currently I'm using Dynagrow/Dynabloom. However I was reading all purpose formulas arnt as accurate for non-recirculating systems. Also one of my cultures is doing phenominal whilst the other is getting chem burn some... I hear 3 part formulas are best. Grow/bloom/micro ... 3-flora types. I'm just tryin to learn sorry if I'm asking dumb questions.

Any and all input welcome. More input obviously the more I can learn from it Thanks guys/gals

I use the left side of this: http://www.generalhydroponics.com/ge...irculating.pdf

I use the suggested bonus items below the schedule too. I went with Sub Culture and not Flora Shield as you can't use both.

The only thing I have added is Hygrozyme and things are going very very well. I always mix to a PH of 5.5.

I will expand a bit during flower and use my own tweaked version of this:

Start with the basic formula and let your plants tell you what needs tweaking.

I'll tell you what works for me. I use a combination of general hydroponics products and botanicare stuff and superthrive. When I first set out on my first dwc experiment, I purchased general hydroponics maxigrow powder for the vegging process. Its great for strictly vegging. I use it at 1/8 to 1/4 strength only with 1/2 strength calmag and 1/4 tsp of superthrive per gallon of water. I like to keep my ph around 6.5 to 7. For blooming I'm switching to botanicare pro bloom since I ran out of my mother earth bloom tea, and the head shop was out of it as well. If I didnt have so much of the maxigrow powder I'd problaly switch to a more organic formula for vegging.

Thanks guys... Great chart doc... and yeah cactus, i was actually gonna comment in my other thread but i figured a general question would work better. I recall you saying something about the mother earth bloom tea.

3/4 of all the farmers around these parts use dynagrow for corn/soybeans etc. You drive past fields and fields and fields with signs saying grown w/ dynagrow and i've always figured if its good enough for the dept of argriculture for food based crops why not?!?

I guess ultimately it will come down to simply learning and trial and error to figure out what works best, or purchase a bunch of plant food trying!!! :P Thanks for the input guys  Still curious as to what else other people use Choice and variety are the spice of life

... cuz seriously, the one plant obsolutely LOVES it. The other I'm ashamed of. Which is so strange. I mixed the two bins EXACTLY the same, even down to PH. They are both clones from the same female mother. One loves it one is trying...... I just dont get it :P

Day 4 flower on a 1-2 week old clone.

I know you said you mixed em up the same, but have you checked the PH of each bin now?

I forgot to mention one more suppelment I use, concentrated humus. Its some stuff I bought off of ebay, it was a concentrated powder, that was mixed to one gallon of water. I used rain water to make it. Of this mix I only use 1 ounce to one gallon of nutrient mix. I dont use it for every nutrient mix though, maybe once every 4 gallons. When I finish this stuff, I'll be switching to liquid karma.
