Hi all

New here, but certainly not new to forums, oh no.
(R/C aircraft, fish, ginger beer, diesel engines, Computers, on and on...)

55 yrs old, N.W. UK, smoked this since age 17, mostly 1 in the evening and lots on a Saturday night

OK, that's out the way.

My threads will not usually be this long I PROMISE, but this tale has to be told, so please be patient (and kind and lovin etc etc)

Last year I was given 2 seeds.
I have never grown my own before.
I planted 1 in the early spring, in a big tub in potting compost, outdoors (on my patio) - it was a good weather summer.
It grew fantastic with little attention, just some tomato fert and water.
It budded very well and I got enough harvest in late October (UK remember = cold then !!) to last me a whole year, like 30 big buds.
It smoked fantastic. I never "got used to it" - a really nice smoke.
This plant was so nice, both in growing and smoking

This year I planted the second seed far too late, like June (long story) - this year the summer weather was rubbish.
It grew well, but no where near as big as last years. (3 feet, 5 feet last year)
Then it budded in late October.
I have left it outside, except at night when it lives in my kitchen as it is now getting almost frosty at night.
Some of the buds white hairs are going brown, so I harvest those, the same very nice smoke as last years, tho they are nowhere near as big.

Now my question ( at last you say !! )
As these 2 seeds have been so good to me, is there anything I can do to -
A = keep this plant going and get more off it.
or
B = clone some of it and keep it vegging until the spring, when it can go back outside.

btw outside because I don't have the facility to grow it all the way indoors without a deal of fuss, tho I could arrange some simple (cool white fluorescent or similar) lights in the utility room to keep it alive until spring if this is feasible.

I think it is a Sativa if that makes any difference.
I have been removing any big leaves that go yellow and the side stems are covered it under developed buds (with white hairs), seems a shame for these to come to little

Sorry for the long post, future ones will be not so long !!

Regards all, John
