I dont personally own a vape with a whip but a good friend swears by the rubbing alcohol method for cleaning anything that he smokes with. Just soak the whip in alcohol overnight and then wash it thoroughly with water. Should get all the resin out. Only downside is that the alcohol is a desirable solvent for the resin so almost none of the resin is salvagable, much less smokable. The upside: your whip will be clean; like brand new.
