[QUOTE=Jibo]Hello councillors,

I am germinating a seed and have the 8" D by 7" deep bucket covered with saran wrap. I am using two regular household flood lights directly and directly shinging on the plant and on tin foil surrounding the area. This is making it kinda hot. The climate inside the greenhouse is 35.1C and 48% relative humidity. Is this gonna bake my seed? Once it sprouts i'll definitely make it cooler, but will it sprout under this climate?

Thanks for the help guys and girls.[/QUOTE

you could also go to a camping supply store and get some emergency blankets... I have learned recently that they are your friend as well....(84% light reflection and cheap as hell $2.00 US)

and I agree- get rid of the spots...go with multiple compact fluorescents or tube fl... for vegging on a budget....if you flower with these address your need for red spectrum fluorescent lights as well( flowering needs this light spectrum for dense sticks flowering- remember UV is a flowers friend) Hope it turns out 4 ya...peace
