    carbon filter....huge!

Looking for some advice here folks..my flower rooms 6ft x 6ft and 7ft high im running 2x600hps and 1 400 hps intakes an active one thro an open window on a 6" rvk fan and extraction is a 10" rvk extracting into my attic....today i got my new carbon filter and its bloody huge! no lies its like a new boiler lol

What I want to know is as my extractions at the top of my room, can I just sit this humugous piece of kit in the corner of my room because i dont think my ceiling will hold it unless i go thro the attic and use rope...it really would make life easier if i could have it standing upright but im not to sure as the carbon will just sit at the bottom instead of it being distrubuted evenly that it would when lying flat? how about just adding more duct when on a standing position? will there be much restriction to air flow...tips/suggestions much appreciated, ill need this to be installed soon tho,ive 25 in flower at 4 weeks in there and the pong has begun!

That doesn't seem like enough airflow for that big of a room. You attach the carbon filter to your extraction fan. So you will have the fan blowing into your filter and then into the attic.

For 36 square feet my airflow is fine thanks...if anything its a bit cool in there, but the plants are fine..my questions on if i can stand my filter upright I know where and how to fit it!

Also i have my filter>duct>extraction fan>duct>attic...it sucks out of my flower room not blowing!

Yeah, you can stand it upright.

Just make sure the airflow is good/not restricted because it's in a corner.

If you reaaaaallllyyy want to be proud, buy a 6-pack of beers, open the 1st one, and between the 2nd and the 3rd, install it up on the ceiling.

Cheers Turtle in your time in replying mate.

The concerns now are if it was standing upright in a corner with good airflow Ithen wouldn,t be extracting my hot air as it rises...

The beers sounds a do able idea...how many cases for 7ft tho lol
