this should be posted in the 'Plant Problems' section ... sounds to me like you water too close to the stem, may be getting 'stemrot' ... don't know, we need photos to tell for sure ... start watering away from the stem, it prevents rot, and promotes rootgrowth, as they reach out for water and nutrients ... let the soil dry more between waterings, too ... :smokin:

My lowryders about 4/5 weeks old, and ive started noticing the bark on the bottom of the stem is peeling away, like its being slowly eaten away .... it doesnt look good at all.
