Swallowing Smoke?

1. You told me that the stomach isn't the lungs.
2. You then explained how THC protects the body from carcinogens, which isn't true.
3. And last you told me how you don't think research has been done on smoke in the stomach, but you can assume me it isn't good.

I'm a part-time lab tech in one of the top academic marine biology labs in the country, along with being a biology major, environmental studies minor, heading to get a phd in the near future. There are many people on this site who are smart enough to see through many of your less thought provoking posts. All I (we) ask is that you don't talk down to everyone like you're the authority on everything that ever was. Peace:rasta:

And it appears you're quite touchy with being respected. I think boasting degrees is a sign of pride, and although I don't believe in the bible, I believe pride is stupid.
I think LIP was pointing out common sense, rather than condescending you. All I ask is that you not assume everyone is out to offend your achievements .

I'm sorry if it looked like I was boasting. I wasn't trying to do anything other than make a point to the poster that he's not an expert on everything, by showing him that some of us have actual expertise in certain fields. Again, sorry guys, I wasn't trying to belittle anyone or brag.

No worries! I was just mediating :P. We all know a little bit about something, I personally don't mind listening to anyone, expertise or not. We have to listen to opinions after all, since not everyone can produce facts. :thumbsup:

Personally, I would say no b/c I've swallowed many a toke before without becoming sick.


Medically, nausea is a symptom of a condition. Often it is a condition that is unrelated to the stomach, for example, motion sickness. THC can be absorbed through ingestion, and thc decreases nausea in most users, so I would say that inhaling into the stomach will likely not cause nausea.

Tell you what - if you can prove me wrong, and prove that THC has nothing to do with the amount of carciongens taken in by the lungs, i'll appologise. Untill then i'll think your abit of an idiot. :thumbsup:
