The mods helped you with your virus problems?

Were they related to the site?

If there was a promlem it had to have been handled by Sundance. The only thing I ever got was pop-ups and a blocker took care of that.

    Have a good one!

same here ... got a pop-up once, then my blocker did its stuff ... no more probs ... it wasn't really a 'virus', anyway, it was just a typical spyware attempt ... :smokin:

I remove unwanted cookies manually on a regular basis. I take off only the cookies that I recognize as tracking cookies or that say "ad" in the name. As it turns out, CanCom puts a cookie on your computer that tells the site which threads you have already read and which threads have new posts. The cookie in question appears, to Spybot, Adaware and me, to be a tracking cookie and therefor malicious.

I wonder if this is the "spyware" that has been causing so much consternation the last couple of months?

It's the government trying to infect stoner's computers, to watch their freaky internet habits, and post it on AboveTheInfluence.com..
