Yes, I do remember it. It was after senior year of high school, and for Canada Day me and a friend (yes, we're both American but we like Canada better so we celebrated Canada Day instead of July 4) went up to Ottawa for the festivities. We spent the entire day walking around Ottawa, logging in about 14 hours of walking taking only a few very short breaks. Well one of our objectives while walking around was to score some canuck bud, which it turns out is a very easy thing to accomplish especially when the whole city is partying, so we scored a quarter of some real dank-looking buds for $70 Canadian. We also had to obtain a smoking device but for some crazy reason in Ontario you have to be 19 to buy anything for adults and since we were only 18 we asked the man who brought us to the head shop on a rickshaw to go in and get us one and he was cool about that so he did.

That night we rented a single-bed room in a university dorm, because it was cheaper...we had to flip a coin over the bed but I have never won a coin toss that I can remember in my entire life so I had to sleep on the floor. Anyways, before we went to sleep of course we were going to get baked out of our minds because we had to leave for the States again the following morning and had a quarter to smoke before then.

So we covered the smoke detector with a plastic bag and duct tape, opened the window, packed a bowl and lit up. Very tasty and extremely potent. By the end of the first bowl we were both stoned out of our gourds...eyes as red as turnips, cottonmouth, munchies, the works. But we weren't going to stop there. We smoked and smoked and smoked as much as we possibly could and got so incredibly ripped all I remember after that is saying "I've never been anywhere near this ripped in my entire life", seeing my friend pass out on the bed and passing out myself later after taking a hit and thinking for the only time in my entire life "I physically cannot smoke any more" and then I lied down on the floor and went to sleep, long before we could have finished the bag.

The next morning we set out for the US again but we still had a substantial amount of weed left. After discussing it for a while I reluctantly agreed to my friend's proposal to throw it out before we got to the border, and went to sleep because I was so tired from staying up so late the night before. When I woke up a couple hours later my friend told me he stopped to throw it out, which was very good because when we got to the border a team of customs officials searched through the entire car (something you can expect when you're under the American drinking age but above the Canadian). When we left the border, he opened up the ashtray to reveal the baggie of weed that he never threw out. I was about ready to beat his brains out and hump him at the same time.
