Whats the point of cloning?
Why would you clone a female plant? If you take off a clone and plant it wont you just lose the branch on the female plant that you cut off? It seems to me its just breaking up your plant into different areas of your grow room. Please tell me if i'm wrong.

Mother plants are for taking cuttings... don't worry, it's a weed.

Whats the point of cloning?
Clones are superior to seeds.
1.They are guaranteed females.
2.They only require vegging for a month or so.
3.The final product is known.
With seeds.
1.Maybe 50/50 females(wasted light,time,space)
2.Require 3 Months to reach maturity(wasted light,time)
3.They may turn out crap(wasted light,time,space,hopes,dreams)

Whats the point of cloning?
clones are great because when you get a mother plant from a seed, all ready to flower in vegetative state, you'll want to keep it always in veg and just grow and flower the clones, so you could actually have an endless supply of female plants ready to flower of that certain strain

he's just being sarcastic.
There's no way to make that comparison. a seed starts out 1/8 inch while a clone starts out about 6 inches. But they grow at the same preprogrammed genetic rate.

The same if not more. If you take a clone and veg it for 3 months you'll have a giant.
If you grow a seed for 3 months you'll have an average plant.
On the same size plant they would yield the same(+-for genetics). But the clone would take much less time to get there.
