Although the cannabis laws here are by no means perfect, they are, as ive said to you before, based on logic rather than prejudice ie. the punishment fits the crime. If the homeowner is unaware of the activity, they are not held responsible for any of the occupants actions, if its a first time offence, the perpetrator is liable for a fine, community service etc or a slap on the wrist rather than a stomping on the face like in the US.
