Steve just called. He said he could tell the last time we talked that I wasn't comfortable with him now that I know what he's into, and that he figured we'd better just call it quits. He said "I just don't want to invest my emotions in you if you can't do what I need you to do. I thought you were different..." So I told him I was sorry and hoped he could find the type of woman he apparently needs. That's the end of that.
