I have 2 BlueGod(BlueberryxGodWeed), 1 PurpleKush, 1 Romulan, 1 SourDiesel, 2 Frosty Snow, 3 PurpleHeadKnock and 1 unkown Sativa

1. 18 White Widow/White Rhino (13 female)
2. No problems, just the learning curve...:stoned:
3. It was fun.
4. Several quart jars, several pickle jars, and a big tupperware bowl. (I don't know what it weighed, don't care)
It was 2 years worth of smoke for me.
5. Second grow...WW. 3 plants. (13 is too much work)

2. Was there many problems? i had to abandon the entire grow due to spider mites

3. Did you enjoy the process? yes except the mites

4. How much did you yield? i had to cut early without flushing but i got 2 ounces from the plant ready to be cut.

5 Did you Keep w/the same strain or di you change to another? If so, which strain? right now i have a spider mite free grow with matanuska thunderfuck, old time moonshine and sadhu

Bag Seed- this was 1984ish, there weren't any on-line seedbanks

2. Was there many problems?

Nah, pretty smooth. Knew enough to pull the boys. No heli's quite yet. Prob pulled a little early.

Of course!!! 'Specially cause I was young enough to think I was Jesse James or something....:wtf:

4. How much did you yield?

No freakin idea... PS grow, no scale. A bunch.

Again, back before named strains were so common.
Next batch was also bagseed, differant bag though.
( I don't care what yer supplier calls it, if it comes in a bag, w/o pedigree paperwork, it's bagseed. Nothing wrong w/ Bagseed!)

1. What was the strain of your first grow? - Bagseed FTW! Definately Sativa dominant. I didn't want to waste any money buying seeds before I knew how to keep them alive.

2. Was there many problems? - Heat stress, light leaks for the first few days of flowering, no pH meter for most of the grow. In the end, she still stood strong.

3. Did you enjoy the process? - Most definately... I haven't stopped reading about the process. I read the internet a lot, and have a few books for reference as well. I started without most of the equipment that I needed, and built up as the grow went on.

4. How much did you yield? - The 1 plant yielded just a hair under 6 oz. completely dry. I let her veg for 2 1/2 months and she flowered for 13 weeks. It was definitely hard to be that patient, especially for my first grow.

5 Did you keep w/the same strain or did you change to another? If so, which strain? - Since then, I have acquired Northern Lights and White Widow from Joey Weed. I have NL in the soil right now. I didn't change strains because I thought the bagseed was bad. In fact, the bagseed I grew ended up being much better than the bud I remember getting the seed from. I chose these strains because they are "staples" of the seed industry, and Joey Weed is probably the most popular up and coming breeder that I know of. Also, they both have much lower flowering times, which I feel pretty good about. If I can wait 13 weeks for bagseed, I know I can wait 8 weeks for NL, hahaha.

Strain: Mexischwag Brick Bag Sat
Problems: Poor lightproofing, operator error, insufficient light, didn't know to stay away from peat moss, no climate control, crappy genetics.... hahaha
Enjoyment: Rather, obsession
Yield: Somethin' is better than nuthin'
Strain: Kept seeds from the ones that WEREN'T leggy, added bagseed from bags I knew to be indica, and started my breeding right then and there.

1) Green sativa

2) No problems other than long grow time and small buds

3) Not as fun as it got to be later on with more experience

4) a couple of big old coffee cans full (we smoked leaf and all and it was good)

5) always moving on....

bagseed, probably Mexican brick ... central Illinois ... 1965 ... there was pretty much no such thing as a 'Grow Manual', but an encyclopedia mentioned it is somehow related to tomatoes ... so, we fed and watered them just like we would grow tomatoes ... it was a long time before I found out about 'buds', we just smoked the leaves, and were happy :S2:

hehe image reaper, that is funny first grow on my own? known as indica. problems? 4 plants in each of 2 household pots. started on a porch then moved to the woods. i thouroghly enjoyed it. yield: about a half ounce(and an ounce of seeds), and i still am growing the very same thing.
