I just called customer service, and as it turns out, with laptop computers, is the USB ports aren't strong enough and I need a desktop computer.

How lame, now I must go return this thing.

Anyone know some good brands that will work with laptop USB ports? I'm going back in a couple of hours and want to get something that WILL work.

I installed their program for my player and want to transer some CD's to my player. Now the problem is, is when I connect the USB cable to my laptop, the player comes on and says "connected to PC" BUT, in the media program that the player came with, the Portable Device icon won't light up, so I can't select it to transfer tunes from my hard drive, to the player. Do I have to enable a plug-in of Rating: 5
