the 'feminized' approach wasn't even considered, years ago, because that type of 'in-breeding' isn't a good thing, genetically ... any hog farmer can explain why inbreeding is bad (OK, so it's a weird example :jointsmile ... but, today, everything is about 'now', (I want it all, and want it 'now') ... so, for sake of convenience, some growers (cashgrowers, particularly) are more concerned about a fast crop, without waiting for sexing ... be assured, seeds aren't produced by the hermie-method to improve the strain
