how do you take the whitw cotton stuff out?and how do you put cardboard in it instead?because you cant really roll it since its already round

You kind of like squeeze around the filter and pinch it. When pinching your pull it out. Don't pull too hard though. Then you just roll up a piece of cardboard for the roach and stick it in there. The pack it.
