Hi all! Sorry for the lack of updates. Work has been kicking my ass.

Last Sunday I had my first harvest I was going to harvest the entire plant due to time, but I could not do it. After much deliberation and smoking of the first sample I cut three large buds from the center nodes.

I am now wating until the last min to finish the job (tommorrow @ 6pm).

So, Perl is now in week 8.1 of flowering. On MOnday (week 7.6) the day after my first cutting, i noticed she had sprouted like 60% new hair! When I cut her the hairs where about 60-70% brown. and now today her hairs are still no more than 50% brown. Why this sudden increase in growth? Will she suffer if I harvest her tommorrow?

The bud I cut on Sunday was put into glass objects today. Some of it did not make it to the curring jar:thumbsup::jointsmile::thumbsup: What a high!!!!

Here are some pics from Sunday. Ill update after the final cutting.

    Happy smoking!:rastasmoke:

    Hey there!

I looooove bubblegum, my fourth harvest will be Jan next year

    You should read my growlog!

I just read your entire thread and thought id give you some pointers if you dont mind.

*never use foil, it creates hotspots on your plants and doesnt work well, use white reflective plastic or flat white paint, or mylar if you can get it.

*I see your using a high nitrogen nute for veg and a high phosporus nute for flowering, very good.

*Dont use a 24 hour light period, 18/6 is best for veg, plants need 6 hours of dark to grow best, and i would only use 12/12 for flowering but thats just me...

*Rock_steady bubblegum and bubbelicious are the same strain, just two different names, the original name is double bubble bubblegum, the strain hales from a coffeeshop in amsterdam called "grey area", they are very famous for it.

*Never use c-thru pots, extended light on roots will kill the plant

*For drying / curing i find the best method to be :
Cut and hang the buds in a cool (18 degrees celcius), dark (pitch black) room, with ventilation to remove moisture but no direct air blowing on the buds!! After 9 -12 days the buds will be perfect! Check them everyday to make sure they dont over dry, test by hitting a bong, it must burn nicely, but the twigs must not snap when mauling, and buds must not crumble, otherwise its too dry.
When the buds are dry they go STRAIGHT into a airtight glass jar, the curing process has begun, you should let it cure for a minimum of 6 weeks, a maximum of 6 months. But you dont have to cure that long, a week will be fine, just the longer you cure the better the smoke! I always keep my weed in a airtight glass jar, from the moment its dry to the moment its about to get smoked it lives in its jar, lightproofing the jar is good too, light destroys THC.

*Oh and i harvest after 63 days (9 weeks) everytime and the bud is always delicious, i still cant get over the smell!!!!

Hope ive been helpful, i think im pretty experienced with bubblegum, my last three harvests have been extraordinary so any help i can give you im always keen to help a gum grower :rastasmoke:

    Peace
