Well, which one produces the most lumins(sp) per watt? I would probably go with that.

I'm not familiar with envirolights....

Depends on the bulb - they differ from brand to brand. You need to look at the specs for the bulb you would be buying.

Sunmaster & Son Agro make some fantastic 400W bulbs that each put out around 36,000-40,000 lumens, I believe. If you can justify the pricetag, they probably make the best 400W HPS bulbs on the market.

I'm using a Sylvania GroLux right now and I'm real happy with the results. It's rated at 58,000 lumens.

When mmj is selling for $50/8th, it doesn't take a whole lot to justify investing in a decent bulb.

I'll probably give the GroLux line a shot when my new digital 600W ballast arrives. Does Sylvania also manufacture MH GroLux bulbs? I'm finally going to have an interchangeable lighting system...and I'm anxious as hell!
