lighting and fan cycles?
What's up all call me a noooob to this, and i know this is a cannabis site, and i'm not growing cannabis.
I was hoping that all of you could tell me what a good lighting cycle would be for my set-up + lants i already have.
i have a 3x3x6 hydrohut, i've got a 600w hps with lumatek ballast.
Want to know what a good lighting cycle would be for 2 tomatoes plants, about 10 lettuce plants, 2 strawberry plants.
So far i've been vegging since they got repotted once they got home from the nursery.
Suggestions pleaseeeewehavegotajumper Reviewed by wehavegotajumper on . lighting and fan cycles? lighting and fan cycles?
for veggies, I would suggest asking your local nurseries, or hydroponic shops ... not sure how much they would vary from pot-growing ... after paying electricity bill, you're gonna have some high-dollar vegetables, I can tell ya that ... one thing, you will want to run an oscillating fan 24/7 to make strong stems and branches, to hold the produce ... good luck :smokin:

lighting and fan cycles?
My guess would be to try and follow natural sun cycles.
I would try starting with 12/12 for 4 to 6 weeks spring cycle. Then switch to 18/6 for sumer cycle for 8 weeks. Then back to 12/12 till any fall bearing vegitables are ripe.
AGAIN THIS IS AN EDUCATED GUESS!!
I have never tried it so this my be a starting point you may want to adjust as you go.
The reason for 3 light cycles is different plants bear fruit at different times of the growing season. You will have to keep this in mind when choosing type of plants to place in your grow room.
