haha this thread is awesome. I have the thought of how words are just useless fuckin sounds, like for example, take a word and repeat it over and over, with time it'll go from the image the word is used to portray to some weird fuckin sound. Also thoughts are genuine because a thought is pure, but with memory, thats a different story. Our memories are NEVER EVER precise, they are only the fabrications of what has happened to us to a certain extent, and with time, they are modified to suit the needs/wants/ideals of the ever changing person. I guess what im trying to say is, we really don't have memory, i dunno if u guys get what i am saying. Also with the numbers thing, they are just symbols, but like words they represent something, so we assign a symbol to what each one represents, and when applied in different situations makes this complex pattern, problem, and solution. I have ALWAYS thought: "man how in gods name did we create math, but yet it applies to basically everything in the world? like we INVENTED math, but yet we didn't, it's all around us, even in our minds we have calculations done in fractions of seconds eg. j-walking, u calculate how much time you have, how far the car is, and how fast u need to cross. It's almost like we didn't invent it, we merely just discovered it, and put it into a system in which we can work with, understand and study. I guess the same applies for language? Language to me teaches us about the world and ourselves, gives us wisdom; while math and numeracy teaches us how the world works, and its inner functions...

Im not high btw, these are just my random semi logical thoughts :P
