Why not grow your own? You are just asking to get arrested or robbed, and if you have 4 kids don't you ever think of what could happen if one or the other happens? Just grow it in an out door shed with a good lock on it or something, but driving around in the ghetto asking random thugs....just sounds like a really stupid idea if you ask me. (asking on the internet seems even dumber IMO) What kind of example are you setting anyway by dealing with thugs? Grow your own, stop supporting criminals!

as much as I agree with EVERY point you made. Having cops come and arrest my for growing could cause more harm then I could imagine. I live in a very nice quiet sub and have 3 acres of land, with 1 of the acres wooded with natural plant wild plants.
I would if i could balance the risk, but theirs no comparison.
You know, what a attempted to purchase over a growing charge.

Hey Bro!

Just ask a cab driver. They know everything. But virtually EVERYONE will make you prove that you are not a cop first. Can't be too careful in the current legal environment (join, support, contribute to NORML).

Another idea is to ask a hotel concierge. They do this kind of thing routinely. Prove that you are not a cop and tip them handsomely.

You can grow your own, but THAT will be almost impossible with 4 children in the house. Be a good dad FIRST. Pot is the leading cash crop in the U.S. and it will be easier for you to buy it than to grow it.

Try a hydroponics shop. DON'T bother the shop clerk and/or owner (bad pot etiquette), but if you "shop" there you might just meet someone who grows the best weed in the universe.

Lastly, I have been to Rockford, Il (check out the annual Labor Day Festival on the Rock River!), and I find it to be a very pleasant community. I think that your description of it as "ghetto" was too harsh. After all, the guy with gold teeth DID try his best to help you out (hell, he probrably has a PhD in economics).

Some guys are only in for the money, and other guys are in it much deeper reasons (moral principal, art, sex, spirituality, recreation, and on and on...).

I know it's really hard being a full time Dad with a full time job AND moving to a new area where you lose all your friends and hookups and such (been there done that). BUT, you have a LOT of friends out there, near Chicago, trust me. But BE CAREFUL (father of 4), and just keep trying. You WILL hook up!

what did you think of penns weed? i ended up with two hookups and
one was a 4/10 and one was 7/10. Wasn't to impressed with it.

I have got some REALLY skunky shit here in illinois, but for the most part i would rate the stuff i have seen to be a 5 maybe 6.

So far, I'm not real impressed .. I'd say at best 6/10 .. I'm sure alot of that has to do with the lame hook-up I have.

You have got to be really careful about copping off the street .. after you prove you arent a cop, you may find yourself either getting jacked for the cash, or with a bag of seeds (as you well know).

A local club on Fri/Sat night may be your best bet. I know thats not easy cause of the fam, and I definitely would not suggest putting on the bjorn baby carrier and taking the little one with ya, but if you can get out every so often, you are bound to meet someone. The only reason I havent done that is cause my hook-up is one of my best friends, so I'm trying to keep the money at "home".

I'd be asking every homeowner that wanted a security alarm installed.

I'd bring it up casually, and, probably, back off easily. Then, I'd step outside to go to my car/truck and explain everything to the next person that I see. If that didn't work, I'd ask the next homeowner, or, person that I see standing anywhere near my car.
