I need females
I only grow for personal use, so I never grow more than 2-3 plants at a time. I'm either the most unlucky person in the world, or I'm doing something wrong. Most of my master kush plants are turning out to be males. The first grow with the MK, the lights were on 24/0 during veg. I found out that might not be the best thing, so on the next grow, I went to a 18/6 cycle. I still got 2 out of 3 males.
I've read about adding a birth control pill to my res to get some female hormones in there and that can help increase the chances of the plants being female. Are there any other techniques that can increase the odds of growing females.smokin tiger Reviewed by smokin tiger on . I wouldn't do that if I were you....what's the pH of your res, and what's the temperatures in your grow room? I'm pretty sure having too high of a pH can give you more males than you want.

tough luck, just keep sprouting them... or save your one female and CLONE it if you're have such issues.... heck you could even pollinate and make a bunch of seeds

Adding birth control pills to your res will do absolutely nothing positive, and might harm your plants. Plant hormones are different than human hormones so adding the pill will do nothing good. Maybe you should think about getting feminized seeds? I'm also growing MK and I got 10 feminized seeds for $106 from Sensible Seeds | The largest selection of feminised seeds in the market..

What are you using for light, and are you letting the nodes go alternating before flowering?
Use BLUE light. MH or a blue-spectrum flouro.
