Green Dragon question

I am confused why all green dragon recipes require it to sit for a month. I made butane hash oil in 20 minutes, so I don't know why it would take alcohol that much longer to extract the same thc. I was planning on making some green dragon for the weekend, but i dont have a stovetop to speed it up. I have a hot water thing for making tea, I could set the mixture in a bowl of hot water I suppose...

any suggestions?

you don't have to let it sit for any period of time.

the most common recipe I have seen on these threads is Master Wu's Difinitive Green Dragon.

basically, just boil 2 oz Bacardi 151 with 1/8th powdered (grind in blender) erb. boil at like 173 degrees for 20 min over a double boiler/bubbler (heat the alcohol weed mix with steam, not over direct heat) then strain and drink a tablespoon!
