5 years ago I was just out of highschool and a good 300lbs or so (which is a good amount considering I'm not very tall). The fact that I pretty much sit on my ass in front of the computer all day didn't help things.

When I first started smoking like 4 years ago, I was a bit worried because I'd get munches really really bad and I'd end up bringing a bag of chips or w/e into my room.

But now, years later, I don't get munchies anymore. I still spend almost all my time in front of the computer, but I smoke every hour or so. I've gone from ~300lbs down to 245, not really doing much exercise either.

Now I have somewhat of the opposite effect. I almost never get hungry unless it's like 5pm and I haven't eaten anything all day. These days, I'll eat in order to get rid of nausea from having an empty stomach more than I'll eat because I'm hungry.

The only time I get munchies anymore is when I smoke significantly more than my typical amount. Like the other day I went from smoking my usual small bowl every hour or so to taking like 10 hash-oil covered bong loads in 30 mins with my friends. I had the munchies pretty good after that, though even in that case just getting a small snack like a piece of cheese is usually enough.
