Just some questions from a new grower

Ok i Have been doing some reading on this and I have ordered my seeds. I gew a few plants years ago so I am not totally clueless.

I am however very new to cloning and SOG.

Here is what I plan to do. I want to plant 10 seeds and I figure 5 would be female.

I want to grow at least 3 of them to full indoor height. THe other ones I would like to do a sea of green by cloning them.

Here are my questions

How many clones can you take from one plant?

Is it possible to clone a clone again and again or will it lose potency after a while?

Roughly How long does it take from seed to the point you can clone it? so how far behind say in weeks would my clones be from my full size ones I am growing.

I want to find a way that I can take say 5 plants and always grow 3 big and take the other 2 and make say 12 little clones and do a sog and maybe take clones off that to start the process over.

Im not really sure if this is possible or if it would be better to breed one in a different part of the house for just seeds. each time.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Zerocool - it sounds like what you want to do is develop a mother plant. There are a whole lot of good threads discussing exactly what you want to do. Do some searching and reading on this site and you should be able to find everything you want to know. Answering all of your questions in detail would entail a whole lot of typing.

I do a lot of cloning so I often answer questions about clones. If you click on my username and then click on "find all posts by PharmaCan", you can find a lot of cloning threads that way.

Basically, once you have a mother plant, the special plant you keep just to cut clones from, you'll have more plants then you know what to do with. The only time you'll really experience delays is with the first cycle when you need to sex the plants. After that first cycle, you will have a steady supply of clones.

Anyway, do some research and then if you have more specific questions or stuff you don't understand, then ask and you'll get plenty of help.
