Being a critic of Al Gore is as fashionable as environmentalism currently is. The two seem to counterbalance each other.

You seem to know something about his assets, do you know how often he uses a private plane? Schwarzenegger has hummers, but he seems pretty sincere about wanting comprehensive reform, and he dumps money into research for a fossil fuel free hummer. Nobody's perfect. We're trying to come out of irresponsible habits and everyone will have a history of eco-unfriendliness, no matter how prominent a figure.

Since environmentalism is 'his' philosophy and he is a 'fraud,' does that mean environmentalism is fraudulent? I know this is a thread about stating opinions, and I'm not trying to change yours, I just wish you typed more to support it.
