What's funny is that no one has actually came out and said "hey psychocat, I am now going to try and change your mind." All they've done is state their opinion, as you did. Their opinion just so happens to be the opposite of yours. Big deal. It's like you're creating this unnecessary hostility just because someone doesn't agree. Don't try and play it off like you don't care lol when it's all you've done is try and defend your opinions. We've all got them am I right? :jointsmile:

The quotes of my posts convince me that you are incorrect.
Why quote me unless you are adressing me?
If you are adressing everyone then a quote of what I said is not needed, it is simply an attempt to draw it to my attention to illicit a response as to why I said what I did.
I don't care that people contradict me I am simply pointing out that to do so is a complete waste of time.

All I'm saying is that just because someone quotes you doesn't mean they're trying to disprove your opinions. They're probably just responding to said post versus more than one post. Not everyone is out to prove you wrong I swear.

If saying that people quoting you is a complete waste of time, doesn't that make this whole thread a complete waste of time?

No you're supposed to give your opinion in the spirit of sharing and that's it really.
Not popular opinions like :
"I believe cannabis should be legal"
give us those opinions that you think the mojority would not agree with.
Like I said it's a kind of venting exercise.
That's the point and also from a psychological point of view it gives an insight into what people believe may be "unpopular".
I feel I have to quote myself now.

So let me try this out:

Pink Floyd is beyond overrated and at this point I can't stand to listen to much of their work. Faaar too abstract and random to be considered "amazing," to me at least.
