I love and am fascinated by animals in the wild. I have nothing but loathing for PETS. It's just never felt right or necessary to me to domesticate an animal. I'll never see what a dog does for someone 'sept reek up their house and annoy the neighbors. Actually, I think it might have something to do with the fact that humanity has detached itself from its natural roots, and maybe getting a pet is just a subconscious attempt to reconnect with nature. Also, the daily eating of meat seems unhealthy and unnatural. I eat fish regularly, but I don't think we were meant to eat a lot of meat. When you look at natural carnivores, they have sharp teeth and claws and look like they were made to kill. Nature needs predators to stabilize populations. When you look at a human, all smooth and nonthreatening, you don't really see a being that was meant to kill an animal and eat it. Maybe the meat companies should start building nature preserves and keeping herds of animals there and if you really want meat, you can pay them an amount and go into the preserve and kill yourself an animal, take it home and clean it, etc. I think that's the only morally acceptable way to approach meat-eating. Kids are growing up having no idea that when they bite into a juicy hamburger, they are really biting into a dead cow's ass.

Listen folks, my opinion on ED is the same - its exaggerated and Pharma is pimping drugs to get people hooked and create side effects that have to be treated with... guess what .... more of their drugs.

When I turn on the TV the last thing I want to hear about is men who can't get it up, people who can't fall asleep at night, people who have bigger ups and downs that average, etc. I'm of the opinion that these are matters of personal nature to be handled in private between a person and their doctor - not blatantly advertised on television.

Perhaps a more P/C version of my original post would be to substitute these words: EDD, ADD, ADHD, Bipolar, Depression, etc are all exaggerated syndromes used to con people into buying prescription drugs.

And I'm not here to piss people off or spread misinformation. My post is directed mainly at the Pharmaceutical industry and how they are the biggest problem when it comes to people getting healthy. (BTW, the remark - Go smoke a fatty and shut the fuck up! - is directed at Big Pharma and their advertising agencies.)

Hypothyroidism and poly-cystic ovary syndrome. I take meds for both, follow a fairly strict diet, and exercise daily using my stationary bike. In my case, I am able to maintain this level of girthiness, and avoid moving into the "Oh my god its moving towards me!" category. However my doctor has yet to help me find a way to achieve significant weight loss following this regimen. At this point we are beginning to consider surgical options.

I don't care how well adjusted a person is, if people continually hurl insults at them 365 days a year it does get very old, and plays havoc with their self-esteem.

That is just one example of his lack of concern for our environment.

Ironically, I will be making all kinds of money off people who buy his philosophy.
