It depends alot on where you live. Here where I live I have to water them during the summer; there's no getting around it. I plant near a creek, so all I must do is have some gallon jugs near by, and fill up at the creek, which is about 100yds from my spot.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes

It takes a lot more than just planting seeds and hoping for the best to grow weed amigo. It seems easy at first, then towards the end you realize how hard it really is to grow dank.

Don't grow unless you have the time, the space, privacy, the safety, water, nutes, etc. It's not worth it to grow half ass weed and then get caught with it or someone steals it.

Trust me... They need water. If the natural plants in the area are lush, and tropical in nature, you could maybe get away with out water as marijuana plants can develop a very large root system if given the space.. If they are lucky, they may find their own water supply, but it's a gamble...

If the area you plan to plant the seeds in is dry and deserty, the chances are slim that the plant will find it's own underground water supply. I wouldn't take the chance if it were me..

My advise would be: don't waste the seeds, rather give them to a friend to grow. He will share the crop with you, no doubt :>

i suppose your right lads was going to do it mainly as an experiment remember lads these plants grow wild in many parts of the world it is a weed after all ? the cultivated forms aint that different to the wild forms and it rains alot where i live i think i will do it just with bagseed next year untill i know if they will survive so i dont waste pricey seeds i could plant on near a stream or river bank so they can find water easy

the weed i grew this year would've died if i hadn't been out there daily taking care of them, tying them up, watering them, singing reading to them...they weren't wild... they were tame... and now they are hanging.

im also planning a relatively unattended grow this coming spring/summer. i have planty of areas with open sun 90% of the day (on a clifftop), but i do not know if there is a steady water supply besides rainfall. plenty of mid-level plants and mosses up there (and not too many deer to eat my buds)

id be growing in cottage country ontario (20-30C, and yes, there is no snow in summer up here )

well, youll still need to ensure that the stream provides nearby soil with moisture (damp, not wet or muddy)
