I think you'd have to define "enough". Will the plant develop buds? I'm sure it will....especially if you have the red spectrum (warm) cfls. Here is the main problem with not using good lighting. You are going to spend several months growing this plant. The difference in lighting from "less than optimum" 2 cfls vs the SAME plant grown the SAME way for the SAME time under better lighting (such as 250hps) will give you much more yield. How much would you rather have from your finished product? 1/4 oz or an ounce? That's the kind of difference good lighting can make.

Use the best and most lighting you can.

Thank's Weedhound and Opie Yutts. We get the picture, picking up a 250 Watt. HPS With a Hydrofarm all system cord set. We will use 6 26 watt CFL and the 250 watt. HPS to flower. Yes we do want to get a decent yeild. We are going to build a nice cabinet after this Rubbermaid deal is done. We just ran a little short on $$ so we are having to make do with what we can. I found a good buy on the cord set and light, so it would be stupid to come this far and not go with the HPS. Thank's Again.

Well i was just told that a 250 watt HPS. Would be to much heat for the small rubbermaids that we have right now. I can see what they mean. so for the time being We have to use cfls for light. We are going to try to get betwwen 12,000 to 15,000 Lumens in the boxes. If our exhaust will handle it, possibly more? We have some 42 watt cfls. We were going to initially flower with these anyway's in the beginning. So we will try to do it this way, this time. Cabinet is in the works, but is down the road, probably late December, but we will be 110% more prepared with a sun system yeild master, Then we will add a 400 HPS. Thanks for the input, any more info is alway's appreciated. We will post pic's soon.

if you use an HPS, you have to maintain 12" between light and plant plus a good ventalation system. I just don't see how to do that with a rubbemaid system, and maintain good odor control.
