Not sure if its too early to tell, help please?

Im new to growing and i picked up a plant from a friend of mine, im not sure if it was a clone or from seeds, now im not to sure if the plant i have is male or female. Or maybe its even too early to tell but can anyone help me out? Thx

Id say its too early to tell but the forming pre-flowers look female to me. Just keep an eye out for two little white feelers poppin outta those tear drop shapes.

im having trouble id'ing one of my plants it doesnt have balls but there isnt any little white hairs ether it looks like a new shoot rather than male or female parts, does any one know what it might b?
