Bowl Burning Manners!

I guess everyone I've ever smoked with has been really, really nice about it and I'm that fucker. Generally I smoke by myself, so maybe I'm not the most courteous smoker. I never think about things like that, and nobody has ever complained and people have asked me to smoke with them again...weird.
Well, I guess next time I know! Maybe more people will ask me to smoke with them.

It's possible that it just doesn't bother your friends. I never have a problem with people scorching weed in my bowls because if it's my weed and my bowl, I always hit it first anyway. So I'm probably the one scorching all the weed and getting the good hit imp:

I agree but it doesn't bother me really because I do my bongs in 1 hit, then will pack another for the next person. If we are using acrylic bongs outside then yea, you just corner it.
Although if someone is scorching your bowl, tell them. Inless they are doing it on purpose (what kind of dick would do that? lol) then they don't know. Tell em.

yeah, if i'm not hitting a bong, i try to leave as much green as possible. but hey, if i rip it and theres no green on top left, tough luck... :stoned:

I'm very glad to hear so many share the same manners. I was once that person too probably. But I can still remember the day crystal clear, My dad passed me the bowl and said: "Hey try to leave some green for the next person". At the time I felt a little under attack, But as time has gone I really thank him for teaching me my manners.

And to rapidfire187, We call those people bums. They want to come in your house and hold your weed hostage, Bullsh!t. Those people will end up not smoking with me anymore.

when it's someone else's, I do the most I can to be courteous, I don't do anything without their ok first. when it's mine, there are no rules. it's a plant that can potentially save the world, I feel inferior to make rules about its usage haha. when i have some we all get high and we don't complain about how its done, we just have fun.

It's nice to get greens, but if you don't own it you can't fret about it. what i find more annoying is passing a cashed bowl around without any warning of the nasty ass ash you're about to get in your mouth.

COMMON COURTESIES OF SMOKING
1. Don't mooch. If you are at someone's house and they smoke you, return the favor either down the line or right then and there. Do not ask to smoke if you yourself either don't any unless you are willing to throw in something in trade.
2. Ask where to ash. Do not just ash on a table or a floor. I hate it when people do that and then say 'dude its a metal table' or 'man, you mop the floor anyways.' When in doubt, use an empty pop can.
3. Don't complain without reason. If a bong hit was harsh, have yourself a good cough. If you suck some shake in through a blunt, happens to us all. If you are upset with quality, you better shut up or top it.
4. Don't steal. Lighters, sacks, loose change, anything. Ask before you help yourself to the fridge, we all get munchies.
5. Respect others and their property.
6. If you load it, you have the right to a green hit. Unless you are matching someone in bowls. If they give you green, you owe them.
7. Be hospitable.
8. Teach, don't taunt. If someone commits a mistake, help them learn not to do it again.
9. Don't be greedy. Puff Puff Pass, light from the edges in, don't double hit.
10. Your house + your weed= your music, Your house + their weed= mutual decision, shared house + your weed = your music
11. Who ever lives in the house is final judge but the owner of the piece as well as the owner of the weed have some say. If you contribute a blunt wrap or a paper, you have no say.
