heres what ive noticed with my highs

ok so the first time i got high was thursday, i knew i actually high. about 5-10 minutes after i smoke i really start to feel. im at my peak i guess. my body feels all weird and stuff and i laugh at everything, but about maybe 30 minutes to an hour i stop feeling like that. same thing happend the next day.

today was the first day i smoked by myself for the first time,and same thing happend, i smoked at like 11:45 (took maybe about5 or 6 good inhales from a joint) and at about 1:05 maybe i kind of lost that feeling. and now it is 1:15 and im not really feeling high just like what happend the other days i smoked.

my question is i thought that highs were suppose to last 2 hours?is this just how it feels when your not at your peak?because i still feel a little high as im typing this right now.

Well... the duration of the high depends of a LOT of things... if you smoke very small amounts of weed, the high is short... if you smoke sativa ones (which give the mind high), the high is shorter than indica ones (which give the couchlock stone)...
I would risk that the "average" high peaks at 15-30 minutes, and lasts for some 2-3 hours. Note that after this 2-3 hours you will be almost completly sober, so in the time between the peak and the end of the high, it decreases, and you dont feel exactly high, but dont feel sober also. Its an intermediary state between this two ones.
But as you are just starting, if you smoke more im sure you will easily reach more than 1 hour being HIGH... and several (5 or +) until be sober again. Note, however, that if you smoke this much, the peak will be incredibly intense, even trippy. So, be prepared. :stoned:
Anyway... youre just starting... there is a lot of things about weed you will discover... just keep smoking! :thumbsup::jointsmile::rastasmoke:

yea after about an hour you will be pretty much sober and just buzzing for another hour or 2 depending on how high you were. if the weed was shitty you will probably come down quicker and feel super tired and lazy afterwards.

if your smoking some good dank i think the high will last longer/the buzz will last longer after your peak. dont worry tho man thats normal. we all come back down for landing. learn when you are coming down and decide if you want to go back up for another trip or not, if not then go do something =p
