AC fixtures use black and white for AC input wires. Get yourself a heavy duty replacement tool cord and some wire nuts from (insert favorite hardware store name)

Lots of sharp edges on fixtures like that so protect your wires and make clean tight connections. Wire nuts are more than fine allthough I solder mine.
What he said. Thats all you need and your gold! Just get a replacement heavy duty extension cord w/ground, and match the colors.:rastasmoke:
