Regardless of what happened or how or who is at fault isn't the issue...these things happen in life...it's how it goes...a good friend of mine piled up his company car with his boss riding shotgun on the first day of his job...

Best thing you can do is resolve to improve your driving...be careful and just watch it...there are worse fates in life...and if you dad didn't love you, you'd really be facing punishment...just relax...life goes on and you'll be fine...I know, I was the guy driving my boss...

That is because you entered a negative parabola of energy. Things slow down and then reality hits in.

But that is not important right now. You live in Colombia everyone drives nuts there. I am afraid to drive in your country. If you drive slow you will get killed there.

All you can do is try to make it right with your dad. For god sake drive more carefully from now on.

Well... I learned my lesson the hard way, I had a car for about 2 years and then I kinda gave up my driving privledges. I got into a few accidents and all except maybe one or two were my fault. I was also not in school and smoking way more back then, and drove while or shortly after smoking many of the times. After the last accident I was under my parent's insurance plan and the rates would have skyrocketed for them. I felt bad and didnt want that to happen so the only way to do that was to prove I was no longer driving the car by voluntarily giving up my lisence. I have been without a car about 3 and a half years now, but I have matured a lot since then, and when I can afford to get a car again will be much more responsible...

Just be responsible and careful. And if you can't remain assertive while smoking dont smoke and drive.
