    NOOB QUESTION!

can you cross an orange tree and an apple tree? no. the same reason cannabis does not cross types.

    NOOB QUESTION!

Give it a try! Likely nothing will happen, but plants are not mammals! They sometimes do things a bit differently. There is a plant called fatsia japonica and it is in no way related to ivy- BUT you can get a cross of them called a fatshedera (my spelling could be a bit off). The worst that happens in your experiment is nothing! - Granny:hippy:

    NOOB QUESTION!

Nothing. They aren't even remotely related. The only plant that could even POTENTIALLY cross with cannabis is another member of the family Cannabacea, and the only living member is Humulus lupulus, the beer hop. I've never even heard of THAT hybris being done succesfully, although a graft is entirely possible.
