Because this is my first post of this sort I must say to all of you my friends, even though it is off topic. That I encourage all you growers and partakers to refer to Cannabis as Cannabis. Not pot, not marujuana, weed, green etc when In conversation with ANYONE!!! Its a plant not a drug and society has placed a bad connontation on these other words. Anyways.....

As a Cannabis enthusiast/grower etc: I try to keep up with the news of whats going on around the world (specifically U.S)with our beloved dioecious plant. I think you guys should too. The largest threads that I read seems to be growers being busted. I guess what concerns we most is indoor operations. I read that even small operations are revealed. This perplexed me and I wonder what are the reasons why growers are being revealed. Ok, I can think of some obvious reasons why.

1.People tellings friends that dont need to know they are growing. 2.Authorities using infared to notice heat spots on transformers and homes that are pulling much current.3. Electrical usage etc etc I dont need to go on.....

My question is what are some obvious/non obvious actions a small scale grower can do to not be "busted". Ok there are alot of things on the market like air scrubbers and such but deeper then that.

If I can put my two sense in guys. I cant stess to you enough about only telling people on a need to know basis! I know it can be hard not to tell your friends!

good advice also grow around holidays when people are trying to out do they neighbors with tons of christmas lights, everyone is sucking electric to the max, makes it easier to run a little on the high side.

Nice I never thought of that one. Good. Do you guys ever grow any other types of plants with your grow opt in addition. I do this as a camoflauge. in my situation closet grow would too obvious so i grow next to my bed.and i have many different plants every where and next to the "babies" if a friend is in your house and it doesnt look as drastic when you see many plants around the house or room.
