Hey Bud,thats great advice, the only thing I would be worried about is any moisture or condensation that is in the bud would be pulled to the surface by the extreme temps in the freezer. If you have had success with this method, good for ya.This is a difference of opinion that my partner and I have often.I have been hesitant to put even vacuum sealed bags in the freezer for fear that it would pull the moisture out of the buds with the temps and then youd have problems.I keep mine in mason jars in the fridge, takes up a lot of space but it seems to work pretty well.Take care,be well and most of all be safe.

just start buying jelly in a jar then stash it in the glass jar, they are perfect for storing your precious buds, the glass doesn't absorb the thc or anything and they seal completely so thats gonna keep it as fresh as you can keep it.

Id suggest breaking it up into small portions (1-3 grams) and putting them in individual pill bottles. That way , if youre carrying it on you, you dont have your whole stash at one time. And it will stay fresh for a long time in anything air tite...adding the orange peels/refrigeration can only help.

pill bottles are one of the worst ways to keep weed fresh a) they are not air tight Air will dry your pot out. b)they are plastic. Plastic absorbs thc, so don't use regular sandwich baggies either. Only Use Glass Jars! Also, DO NOT use an orange, or anything citrus for that matter. The acidity of the fruit will transfer to the weed via the oils in the peel, thus lessening the overall amount of thc. If you have large amounts(1lb or more) to be stored it is only acceptable to use plastic bags specifically designed for a vacuum sealer for no more than 30 days with no sunlight. But it is best to invest in the largest mason jars that are available and break up the lb into 4 large jars. If you want a pocket sized glass jar they are quite easy to find especially on line or even at walmart they have small spice jars that work for $.97

To keep it fresh ALL you need to do is store it in a dark airtight container, and make sure there is no moisture. Treat it like a cure. Well, really, it is a cure.
Theres no need what so ever to refridgerate, or freeze weed.

Is it true that plastic soaks up the THC? That seems strange. I know plastics are made from oil, but aren't the polymer chains resistant to making new chemical bonds? It seems like a relatively inert substance, but then again, I'm not an organic chemist. Is anyone else? If so, answer?
